Poetic Intent

A poem from the Ascension series

I intend to cook, I intend to write
I intend to make a living out of spite
I intend to sing the tree that touches me
I intend to sail a ship of poetry
(my own)

I intend to cry, I intend to smile
I intend to sing the flower of each mile
I intend to lose the weights that burdens me
I intend to grow a plant of harmony
(my own)

I intend to share, I intend to love
I intend to paint the wisdom from above
I intend to kiss the man who sleeps with me
I intend to be my Soul’s best devotee
(my own)
